I just started the NC program in Santa Cruz, and was delighted to bring in a sample of some kombucha I'm helping to brew here in town. The response was amazing, people simply loved the taste and quality of the lemon ginger and mate kombucha flavors I sampled.
I recently started working with my friend Terry, who has worked as a production manager for two local kombucha companies, and has eventually discovered that he likes doing it best in small batches with only the highest vibrations of love and healing involved, with little to no emphasis on sales and revenue.
Amma bhajans are played during the whole process, infusing the kombucha with spiritual teachings from a living saint.
The kombucha itself is of the highest quality I've ever experienced, and many friends and family members have said the same thing. It simply tastes delicious. And it feels medicinal, definitely the highest potency available. Especially when you add fresh lemon and ginger juice (the lemon ginger flavor), or start with a base of jasmine green tea and add apple and ginger juice.
For the last year, I was living in Berkeley, and we sold (and still sell) this kombucha, on tap, out of the house I lived in, which is called Raw Manna Superfoods Co-op.
