Cooking at the Farmers' Market

Bauman College Outreach and the Ecology Center hosted the first of a series of healthy cooking demonstrations, featuring organic produce from the Farmers’ Market. Every third Tuesday of the month, we share free samples, recipes, and nutrition tips with market-goers to inspire seasonal cooking at home. We welcomed Spring this month with the simple and delicious "Fresh Asparagus Soup" by Bauman College Instructor Trudy Schafer. Trudy Schafer, M.A. is a Natural Chef who runs a personal chef business, The Healing Hearth, that brings a holistic approach to the kitchen using organic whole foods.
