Now that the citrus season is upon us, it's time to take out the juicer. For me, I always have to consider economy. If the fruits are expensive, then I usually don't make juice, and eat out of hand instead. Juicing requires a lot of fruit.
Anyway, when you want to make juice, I developed this combination that is sweet, tangy, and nutritious - always a surprise to my guests. The color is more vibrant than orange juice because of the carrots.
Depends on the number of people:
I always use organic apples, carrots, and lemon so that you can put the whole fruit in the juicer to get the peel. If oranges are not organic, peel them. To change quantities, I usually vary the oranges and keep the other ingredients the same, so that you are getting all the benefits.
