Digestive & Calming tea

Try this calming and soothing ayurvedic digestive tea:
1 quart of water
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tsp coriander seed
1 tsp fennel seed
1 tsp licorice root

Bring water to a boil, place all ingredients in a pot and simmer for fifteen minutes; or put tea in a strainer and place the strainer into your tea pot and pour boiling water over it and steep for 15 minutes.  Discard the herbs and store the tea in a thermos or glass container.  Drink the tea throughout the day warm or cold to soothe digestion and help ground.

I love this tea because of it's calming qualities for my nervous system and digestive system.

fennel:  vitamin c, fiber, potassium, manganese, folate, phosphorous, calcium, iron & copper
