Still trying to find the "I will upload my own picture" option.  I only get the option to chose a veggie as my image. I feel I've looked everywhere for this button.  I think I may have the same problem as CJ as i signed up as a "memeber" instead of "alumni". I am not a student yet. Is this why?

Yes, until you are are a student or alumni, you are not able to upload a picture avatar.

Aloha loveleys !!! so im new new new luvin it so far !!! also had a wee question, i  am looking to get the power point presentations for the NE class but for some strange reason cant figure it out !!! even though i have got the first 2 already !! anyway any hints help for mee spaceyness would be much appreciated !!! looking forward to exchanged help and knowladge !!!

I'm enrolled for Fall '09 and received the email, however, I don't have the option of modifying my picture to one that I upload...hmm...

Your student status doesn't kick in until classes begin.  At that time you will be able to upload a picture.

www.dontforgetthegarlic.blogspot.com I update it weekly on Tuesdays. It should get interesting very soon because it will include my road trip adventures as I cross the country to go to new york!

Hi -- I uploaded my pic per the instructions, saw the name of my file on the profile page, but once I hit "change profile," the file name disappeared and no photo appeared in the box. I'm trying to upload a .tiff -- does the system recognize those, or do I need a jpeg?

Hi Marlina,

I'm trying to upload my photo.  I've followed the instructions (using Safari on a Mac) and you'll see that I have a blue box with a ? where my photo should be.  Prior to this attempt, I tried to upload my photo using Firefox on my Mac, and it didn't take it at all.  Any advice would be very helpful because I'm not sure what else to try.

Funny someone else had difficulty and said they had a box with an X in it.  Both of which I can't see. What I can see is that you don't have a photo though! :)

Make sure that your picture is small enough, 10-20 MB or so....if it is too big, maybe that is the problem, let me know if this helps.  Also, be sure to use JPG.
