I tried to upload a pic but am not sure it worked because it is linked to my desktop computer...so for now I have a veggie icon.  Hope to get the pic updated soon.

I've followed all of the directions and I don't have an option "I will upload my own picture", I only have the choices of "No pic" or "Veggies".

The ability to post a photo avatar is only open to students. Sorry for this inconvenience.  It is block spammers from posting unsavory stuff.  I hope you understand.

So when am I considered a student? I've been accepted to Boulder this March, paid all of my fees, gotten the Welcome letter, and would love to add a pic, as you suggest, but I'm not given the option, I guess because I'm not yet considred a student. Will this be live or active after the first class on the 21st?

Hi Elizabeth,

You got it right, we actually don't register students into the forums until the first day of class.  Be patient and you'll be in to all areas shortly! In the meantime, enjoy the public forums!

Hey Marlina- I'm a new student from South Carolina and today is my first day- Spending some time getting familiar with things and so far I love it! I have 3 teenagers so they will definitely be helping with the technology side of this- and the picture was the first use of them I am looking forward to using this forum for getting to know some people and making it more personal since I am an on-line student. And also to learn from eveyone and hear many different opinions on interesting topics. Have a great day!
